INDE tangkha painting, chemday monastery, sakti, ladakh, india 1664 Buddhist monastery, approximately 40 kilometres (25 mi) east of Leh, Ladakh, northern India.It belongs to the Drugpa monastic order and was founded by the Lama Tagsang Raschen and dedicated to King Sengge Namgyal.

Leh Ladakh Un - assuming, going about their daily activity of selling vegetables, these Ladakhi womens' eyes were full of anticipation. The holiday season would end, 1 month later, and they had to earn and save for the harsh dry winters which awaited them, until the spring knocked again and so also the tourists!Ahh the long wait
