Ranunculus asiaticus

These are the prettiest, most perfect deep cerise pink Ranunculus (or buttercup) flowers that I have seen in a while. I suspect it is a variety of Ranunculus asiaticus or Persian buttercup. Ranunculus asiaticus is a tuberous perennial, native to S Europe, SW Asia, with long-stalked, deeply lobed leaves. #buttercups
