Mordred--Arthur knew that when he saved Mordred as a child he was a Druid, so why did he not remember that? I think he did, I think he knew he was raised with magic but chose to trust him anyway. I think that showed how subconsciously he had begun to accept magic. He wanted to believe magic wasn't all bad because he didn't want Morgana, his sister and childhood friend, to be completely gone. <--- This is a good point. I've been wondering that too.
