What are you grateful for today? If you've read my latest blog post, you'd know that one thing that is helping me to get through the hardship of life is gratitude. I'm not talking about gratitude when we are literally positive about everything in life without truly considering our real feelings. No, that would be toxic. I'm talking about genuine gratitude, which is often hard to find amid hardship, and yet we know that even if our life is full of obstacles and unexpected challenges, every day is a gift beyond measure. Because whilst every day might not be a good one, there still is something good in every day. Palm Sunday Reflections Yesterday, on Palm Sunday, I found myself with tears in my eyes during the service at our cathedral. As we sang My Song Is Love Unknown, emotion welled up unexpectedly—but not unfamiliar. The words of that verse: “Here might I stay and sing, no story so divine; never was love, dear King, never was grief like thine!” — they met me where I was. And they brought the tears.
