Raven Hill is a #horror novella, the second book I’ve self-published. It has #occult and #witchcraft themes, and is a real departure from killer rats! A small travelling group of witches root out rogue sisters who have gone over to the dark side. It’s set in contemporary UK. I'm interested in witchcraft, and its values of #mothernature, #feminism, #femalesolidarity. Ratstrike wasn’t the first #horror novel I wrote, but it was the first I self-published. Set in a #dystopian near future England, human survivors battle for their lives against a fast-evolving killer #rat infestation. I really wanted to write a sort of allegory of the problems faced by an isolated UK after Brexit. There’s also a little Pied Piper in there too!
