Sketch of Teck Turquoise Parure, United Kingdom (19th c.; from top, Tiara, Earrings, Necklace, Brooch; turquoises, diamonds). Princess Mary of Teck's parents gave the parure to their daughter on the occasion of her 1893 wedding to Prince George, Duke of York (later King George V). The Duchess of York had jeweler E. Wolff and Co. lower the top of the tiara in 1912.
