Rebel Heart

2000 - Historical drama in a 4-part TV miniseries. An idealistic young man from a privileged family (James D'Arcy) comes of age during the birth of the Irish nation (Easter Rising to Irish Civil War). Filmed (Spring 2000) for 13 weeks in Hannaywood Studios, Dublin and Wicklow County. Won the Nymph d'Or at the 2001 Festival de Télévision de Monte-Carlo. Rebel Heart won the Best Director Award at the Monte Carlo TV Festival. Aired on: BBC One London, 07 - 28 January 2001
