"You are my home" Christmas keepsake - Christmas card alternative
This is a small wooden decoration, that comes in a "Merry Christmas" box and has "You are my home" card glued to the inside of the box. The decoration sits on a glue dot and is easily removable and can be put on a shelf or on a Christmas table. I designed it to be sweet an cozy and I think it makes a nice alternative to an ordinary Christmas card. It will remind about you the person you present it to for the years to come. Few words about the process: I made a sketch illustration on my ipad, then converted it to a mockup compatible with a laser engraver, used the laser to cut and engrave the wood, then painted with acrylic paints and glued the pieces together.
