Jon White - Cornish Seascape Artist
Having grown up in Cornwall, Jon White’s practice has always been informed by the sea and the rugged coastline. He draws inspiration from walking the south west coast path and seeking to bring the ‘felt’ elements of these walks back to his studio in Falmouth. He describes his work as having a slow process and rhythm that often leads to quick and intuitive bursts. These bursts are often the tipping point that bring a painting into its fullness.
