Girls hanging out in their new library. We try to get the children involved in decorating their new library so they feel a sense of pride and ownership. In this instance, the girls got so excited about decorating their new area-- they went absolutely abstract! They described it as "Rrrainbow colors" which is also the name of the home (Rainbow Girls) in India!

Library project helps school in India open the door to sustainability---When the Rotary Club of Elmbrook, Wisconsin, USA, learned the Yercaud TELC School in Tamil Nadu, India, needed a new library it jumped at the opportunity to help. The school, for children from tribal villages, is one of 97 administered by the Arcot Lutheran Church (ALC) School Project in south India.
