Unveiling new layers
My art is inspired by the ways in which we see the world. How our thoughts shape what we see and just like when a kaleidoscope takes a turn and a whole new set of images appear; that is how we work. We change our minds about something and see something new appear. Or we think the same thoughts and see those appear like repeated patterns in our lives. We will never see all the infinite possibilities that can appear over a lifetime but we can see afresh anytime we choose. My new collection plays with the idea of the layers of our thinking and how we can unveil a new layer as soon as we cut through our habitual thoughts.
