Work as if for the Lord!

Throughout Scripture, there are many Bible verses about working hard… and certainly there is value in hard work and perseverance! But, even more than just working hard, our Heavenly Father calls us to serve in His Kingdom. We are called to work, not for selfish gain, but for the greater good. Work might not always be fun or easy, but it is worth it!

This Bible verse has been staying with me for several weeks. It's so easy to apply this verse when you're thinking of church tasks or other related scenarios. However, this applies to ALL our works. This means when we are going to work, when we are helping someone, or whatever we are doing. We have to do it all as if we are working for the LORD. This will honor HIM and lead others to HIM. What does this verse mean to you? How have you applied it to your life?

Have faith and trust in God even when things seem uncertain because His plan is ultimately for a greater purpose beyond human understanding. I would have despaired had I not believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living.
