Large pigeon that wanders around after fruiting trees. Inhabits tropical and subtropical rainforest. More common in north east Queensland. Even though it's large it is very shy and can be hard to spot in the foliage. Has a distinctive call that sounds a bit like "woblot woo woo" so you can tell it's around even if it's hard to spot! Seen in Cooktown, Far North Queensland.
