Vespa 400

The Vespa 400 was one of my favorite cars in the concours. A little more than a thousand of these were imported to the United States, believe it or not (for perspective, that's more than the total number of AC Cobras built)

Best known for its scooters, Italian manufacturer Piaggio turned its hand to car design in the late 1950s. And it unveiled the Vespa 400, a rear-engined microcar in Monaco in September 1957.
