Today I have to share with you a sweet and simple baby card, featuring the gorgeous All For Baby bundle. No ribbon, and no gems, on this card - very unusual for me! It's all about the sweet die-cut onesies, bib and pegs, and the colour co-ordination. (Please ignore the bowed sheet of paper I used as my backdrop! 😂) I first cut a piece of Basic White card with a Scalloped Contours Die, to create the scalloped rectangle on which to place all the little elements. Using Post-It Notes, I masked…

Pale Papaya, one of Stampin' Up!'s new In Colors, is a lovely pastel colour to use for a baby card. For today's card, I teamed Pale Papaya with Crumb Cake and Basic White. The dotty background paper, from the Hand-Penned Petals Designer Series Paper pack, has been sponged around the edges in Crumb Cake ink. I stamped the teddy in Crumb Cake ink (making sure first that my inkpad wasn't too juicy). After die-cutting the bear, I placed him on a Basic White Scalloped Contours die cut, that had…

Tonight I am taking part in a weekly Colour Creations blog hop, with some Stampin' Up! friends. This week the colour we are focussing on, in our creations, is Blushing Bride. I have made a baby card, with lots of texture and sweet details ... and, surprisingly, I have used no ribbon or gems! I started off with a Crumb Cake card base, and added a layer of Basic White card that I'd embossed using the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder. You can see that embossed background through the…

Welcome to a Week 6 of the Colour Creations Showcase blog hop. This week we start our journey through the remaining Stampin' Up! core colours, starting with the new addition to the Basics range, Basic Beige. This week I thought that many of the other blog hop members might tend to choose the Country Woods suite of products as it is a natural choice to feature Basic Beige, therefore I chose to feature something else although I couldn't resist using one of the Country Lace pieces of paper…

It's wonderful to be in my 70's and still have friends who are having babies! Lillian Marie arrived 6/30/21 at 5:30 AM. This is their first baby and I can't wait to meet their li'l Lil! So, here's the card I created for them using the All for Baby Stamp Set and matching Baby Clothes Dies. This is a new, never-before-used set so I'm entering my card at NBUS #28 Challenge. Thank you, Beth McCullough and Steve, for your inspiration! It was fun being involved in creating your card on FB Live…

Good morning peeps! Welcome to Masculine Monday Makeover Madness! I had a special request for M & M's today so I did my best. I created this card back in November 2021... and here it is made over... It's a regular card fold this time using patterned paper from the You're a Peach Designer Series Paper. I layered a mat of Night of Navy on a Thick Basic White cardstock base. I used various DSP for my onesies, The hangers are die cut from Gold Foil. Everything is die cut with the Baby Clothes…
