1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
1 cup sugar
¾ cup butter
3 eggs
½ cup brewed coffee
Mascarpone frosting Instructions: Mix dry ingredients and set aside. Cream butter and sugar, beat in eggs, and add brewed coffee. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes. Frost with mascarpone and dust with cocoa powder. A slice reveals the rich coffee flavor of this layered cake.
