Abraham, who is said to be the founder of Judaism. The role that Abraham played in is rediscovery of monotheism, in one God. Before, he was known as Abram with his wife, Sarah, and one day, God called on Abram to move to Canaan. God and Abram made a covenant that when Abram moves to Canaan, his descendants would have the land. After this, God gave him the name of Abraham.

The Abrahamic Covenant is really the beginnings of the formal revelation of the covenant of grace, of God's decision to reach into humanity and specifically save people for Himself.
