Our homemade whelping box. Materials: Old TV stand, 2 - 2x4's, screws, small tarp, staples, whelping mat, blanket. Remove all inside boards and hardware. Measure, cut and drill in the 2x4's 4.5. We put ours 4.5 inches from the floor. Staple tarp just under the wood rail (to keep any mess contained and off our floors). Add whelping mat and blanket (optional) & Voila!! Easy to make and inexpensive whelping box.
