the front and back side of a card that says my favorite things, with a pink ribbon

It's a new year and My Favorite Things has a slew of Wednesday sketches for you! Here's Sketch #366. And here's my simplified take on it. Flowers and leaves were inked and cut with the matching dies. Three mod squares were cut from Stone Gray card stock and the flowers and leaves were adhered to them. The squares were then popped up on a Cement Gray card base and the card was finished off with the white embossed sentiment on a fishtail banner. Visit the Card Challenges blog for all the…

Hello friends! For my June Paper Rose Studio design team project, I used their new Dear Isabella collection. I had the 6x6 size, but it's also available in 12x12. I used the original collection along with the Dear Isabella Textures paper pad and Dear Isabella Die Cut pack. Lots of pretty purples and floral designs.

Today I have a Guest Design Team post for TupeloDesignsLLC. The granddaughter of a good friend of mine has been in the hospital for a few weeks now and I wanted to get a card in the mail to her. I thought I had one to send, but I went through all my cards and didn't one so I made this one. I used a really pretty My Favorite Things stamp set called Delicate Pretty Poppies stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored up one of the flowers and stem with some Copic Markers. When I went to…

Hello friends! Since my Christmas cards are finished, it's time to work on some winter cards. I just need enough for cards in January for the retirement home residents. (Around 45) I'm planning on using at least 2 different winter 6x6 paper pads, but I also decided to use Love From LIzi's Frozen mega pack.

Ohhhhh how good it feels to be able to make a card using something other than a pair of scissors.. yeah!!! I used some papers from a Pebbles paper pad called Family Ties, MFT dies, a MFT stamp and some Stampin' UP! brads. I wrote down the measurements, but forgot to bring it upstairs with me. I'll add them later.
