Built at different levels to capture the contours of the land, the varying tiers of the roof ensure an unhindered view from all parts of the house. The Principle behind creating a Mediterranean interior is quite simple. White wash undulated walls, fibre wicker outdoor furniture, printed cushions, clay tile (Mangalore tile) roof, some mild lighting and a combination of grey and blue printed tiles for the flooring tends to be a typical foundation for the overall design and to create a Mediterranean ambience.
