1997 London Underground Tube Map Cover

For several years in the mid-1920s the Underground Group owned London General bus company issued maps with 'corporate' covers - this version includes a "GeneraL" version of the Edward Johnston roundel and also uses a version of the "London's Underground" logo that was eventually phased out as the identity became centred on the use of the bar and circle roundel. The cover also uses Johnston typeface.
