We’ve all had that one test that we forgot about, or just couldn’t be bothered to revise for. Maybe the teacher only told you about it wayyy too late (nice excuse). Nonetheless, you probably scored really, really low. If you want to learn how to study for a test the day or the week before it’s happening, then some of my advice could help you. Then again, the most productive thing for you to be doing right now is revising (it’s fine, I won’t tell anyone 🙂 ). 1. Print/download the powerpoint the night before lecture.

2. Do a brief overview of the slides and get yourself familiarized with the topic before you learn it in class.

3. During lecture, use your slides and take personal notes (not just everything the professor says) on the side of the page using color pens. Using color pens or highlighter helps you remember better.

4. Start studying all the slides 1.5-2 weeks before the exam date. Make sure you have plenty of time to study all the lectures.

5. 1-2 days before the exam, start reviewing the materials. This time it’s a quick review bc by this time, you already did a through review and just needed some refresher.

Now you’re ready for the test. Good lu Start Studying, Time To Study, How To Study, The Professor, Study Methods, Pre Med, Med Student, Exam Study, Colored Pens

Now, when it comes to the MCAT A huge factor that helped me be successful both times I took it was 𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘭𝘺 sticking to a routine from DAY ONE.

I think it is SO important. I get messages all the time about not having the motivation to study and pushing back a test date multiple times.

99% of med schools require the MCAT so I would first question if being a doctor is what you really want because there are going to be more “MCATs” in med sch Med School Acceptance, Motivation To Study, Being A Doctor, Pre Med, Med School, Be Successful, A Doctor, To Study, Study Motivation

The best tip I have ever got when studying for my PMP exam was to invest more time in practice tests. I would say that it also expediates the learning if you read the guides first, then attend a training, then take as many practice tests as possible- while trying to understand which areas you don't yet master. A full recap before exam day and you should be ready to ace your exam.
