BBMaui, Kauai, Hawaii. To get this angle I had to lie flat on the ground (the camera was barely one inch above the ground). In the high resolution version, on his right eye you can see reflection of me lying on the ground.

I walk around the pond in my backyard from time to time, hoping to catch one of the frogs in some good light and calm water -- was not disappointed with this guy!

Osteocephalus mimeticus - Cordillera Escalera Conservation Area, Peru These little froglets made their appearance as I photographed the adult Osteocephalus with the starry sky in my previous photo.
