Based on a dream I recently had. From what I remember, and to my understanding, there was some sort of sickness that only affected owls which would turn them into moths. They were at least 5ft in height, their feathers were white, gray and black with red under their neck and ends of primaries. The feathers seemed to slowly fall off whenever they moved. Hi Folks Here's part one of a an early design for the Manticore for Secrets of Dumbledore. The idea was that from a distance and in low light, in its resting mode it would have a very feline-line like silhouette, meaning the warriors of the time usually didn't stick around to see it in attack mode!

It was an interesting commission of nightmares.
