Homemade cupcake birthday cards are a sweet gift! You can easily integrate sight word teaching with this fun birthday craft!

Since one napkin can go a long way, you can make a set of these cards while you are at it and always have cards on hand when you need them. A die cutting machine is helpful in making this card to cut the words out and emboss paper for the blocks. I know I'm late to the My Favorite Things Cupcake party, but I finally got the sweet Frosted Cupcake die set, and the Sugar-Coated Sentiments stamp set and made a birthday card for a friend... I made a chocolate frosted cupcake! I die cut and layered the pieces twice each and popped them up on a die cut circle with a stenciled polka dotted background. Simply done, but so much fun!!
