Here's a recent addition to the Douglas heritage through a 'Coat of Arms'. I have tried to use elements in both the 'shield' and the 'crest' that were obvious in the 'Arms' of Archibald Douglas 1694 - 1761 yet, erroneously used today by the 'Douglas Clan Families' as their universal Coat of Arms. NOTE: "Armorial bearings do not appertain to all persons of a given surname but belong to and identify members of one particular family and are personal.
