I need two FIrst Communion cards for little boys. Here is the first -- very simple. I stamped the cross on the white panel, again on scrap, cut it out and raised it on dimensionals. I used a spica glitter pen in all the white parts of the cross, so it's sparkly IRL. I used a Michael's dollar spot envelope (from a set of notecards), so card measures 3 3/4 x 5" to accommodate smaller envelope.

I've had a run of Baptism cards lately, but this time I had to make one for a baby boy. I stamped the cross from the Special Blessing stamp set onto Bashful Blue card stock using white Kraft ink and then embossed it with clear embossing powder. I also stamped poka dots onto the Whisper White card stock base and embossed it with clear embossing powder. I used the Top Note die to cut out the Whisper White and Bashful Blue top notes. I've trimmed the white top note and then run it half way…

The nice thing about making homemade cards..you can personalize them. I made this card for a friend's grandson's baptism. I included his name and the date of the special occasion. I used my cricut to cut out the outfit from paper dolls cartridge and made it look like a baptismal outfit.
