Here's a fun tip for die-cutting: Double cut! Simply set two steel dies together. Add a little temporary tape (like Washi tape or Painter's tape) on top to hold them in place and then run them through your manual die-cutting machine. (By the way, these circle dies are from TechniqueTuesday.com.)
