Apple pie crust designs

This is a super simple Pear & Salted Caramel pie recipe, made with fresh pears, salted caramel and store bought pie crust.

Apple and Cardamom Pie with Cardamom and Vanilla Bean Crust - a pie dough spiked with warming cardamom and fragrant vanilla bean encloses a spiced apple cardamom brown sugar filling. This variation on an apple pie is simple but delicious - it makes the perfect dessert or anytime treat.

Used only 1 1/4 cup flour, 1 stick salted butter, and 1/4 cup ice water to make one pie crust. Little sticky and wet when all mixed together. Pour out onto wax paper with flour and flour the top of the dough. Fold in half and keep flouring until not as sticky. Dolly into a ball and then press flat into a disk or plate shape. Chill in fridge for a few hours before use. Best pie crust I’ve ever had.
