Everyone can sit down, talk about touchstones, and agree on a target, but at the end of the day, tone is something that develops during the creation process, not something you just decide to do in advance.

Day 12... Favorite Fight Scene: Buffy and Angel from Season 2, Episode 22, Becoming, Pt. 2. Seeing the two of them battle it out against each other was gut wrenching as it was happening and while the fighting wasn't top notch like in the final episode of Chosen, the impact was so much greater.
