Amy Sherald I see a painting of a woman holding a camera. Her clothes have what looks like flowers and pedals on dark blue while contrasting well with a peach colored sweater. Colors are very vibrant and also complements each other. It feels very simple and the solid color background stands out on the more detailed figure. If there were an absence of shadow and detail in general, the feeling of simplicity would stand out even more.
