Allotment cake

This cake was created for an avid gardener. I was asked to include the birthday boys two Chocolate Labradors (dogs) playing in the the garden beds (which included his Show award winning Pumpkins and Rockmelons).

Pumpkin sponge cake covered with cream cheese frosting, crumbled homemade chocolate bicuit and green fondant icing. Finished with fondant vegetables, grass buttercream and fondant flowers.

I made this cake for a wonderful friend. Classic chocolate cake with chocolate ganache and all vegetables, and butterfly, made from coloured fondant. 'Bean poles' created from Micado!
