Pant Suits were introduced in the 70's. These pant suits were made for women that were starting to work, and since these were introduced in the 70's you're able to see the flare in all the different pant suit designs, and the bold hippie colors. (Christine DePriest 4-4-17)

Pantsuits were big mid-60s. Girls had never worn pants for dress before this. Still couldn't wear them into a really nice restaurant.
