The trams and vehicles date this picture to sometime in the early or mid 1930's. The tram system was swept away from this part of north London when trolleybuses were introduced around 1938. The tram on the far left of the picture is bound for Chalk Farm, where it will terminate. The tram just seen on the far right will probably follow the tracks round the curve into Camden Road.
