Weaving part one
For this tutorial, you will need an empty photo frame, string, fabric and chopstick or pencils to create the loom for your weaves.

In this part you’ll learn how to make the weaves.

Step 2.
Weave in one at time, over, under, over, under. We work from right to left but you don’t have to.

Step 1.
Double knot one end of the string to the frame.

Wind the string around the frame.

Step 3.
Pull the strings at the front of the frame one by one so they are not floppy then holding your strings tight double knot the frame and cut off.

Using your pencil or chopstick weave through the strings (go over your strings at the front of your frame and under the ones at the back. This will tighten your strings.

And do this again. This time the strings you went over before, go under and the ones you went under, go over.

Step 1.
Grab your fabric this can be made from old t-shirts, plastic bags, food wrappers, whatever you have to use.

Each row will go over/under the opposite strings to the row before it. We’ve woven the tail into the next row but you can leave them to stick out.
