Scissors, pen, pieces of plastic, yorgurt tub and Sellotape.
Make! Recycled jellyfish
A base for your jellyfish such as the bottom of a plastic bottle, yogurt, dessert pots Plastic! This can be from carrier bags, cereal bags, film from window envelopes, tea bag foil packaging or packaging from vegetables Scissors Sticky tape Permanent pens or a pencil

Step 1.
Cut down your yogurt pot or bottle to form the body of the jellyfish - it can be a bit tricky getting started so ask your adult to help you.

Step 2.
Using the thinnest plastic you have, cut long thin strips for your jellyfish’s tentacles- you can do this in individual strips or as one length.

Step 3.
Using any thicker plastic you have (like cereal bags) cut some more tentacles using wobbly triangular shapes. You can draw the shape on the plastic and then cut it out if this is easier.

Step 4.
Using sticky tape, stick the thicker wobbly triangle shapes into the center of the pot.

Step 5.
Tape the longer strips around the inside edge of the pot, it’s easier to do smaller pieces and build up. You can always trim the lengths and shapes once stuck.

Step 6.
Add extra details using permanent pens or cutting and taping more shapes from any leftover plastic.
Cut bottle end with strips of plastic on inside, a strip of plastic is used as loop for hanging up.
Step 7.
If you want to hang them up, cut a long strip of plastic and tape it as a loop over the top of your jellyfish.
