Make! Paper play food
Let the kids be chefs with this simple paper play food tutorial.

Step 1:
Use your round object as a guide to draw 3 circles onto your card and cut them out.

Using your green, orange and yellow paper, draw and cut out 2 more circles of each colour.

Step 3:
Take your card circles and your coloured paper and glue them together. The same colour should be on the front and back. Trim any areas that need it.

Step 4:
Draw 3 more circles, 2 on the white and 1 on the light green paper. Now draw a line inside that line about 1/2cm smaller. Using that smaller line cut out the circles.

Step 5:
Glue the small white circles onto one side of the orange and yellow bigger circles, and the small light green onto the one side of the big green circle.

Step 6:
Fold your circles in half (with the small circles on the outside) and crease, then open flat again.

Step 7:
Draw segments for the lemon and orange, and pips for the apple. Try having a go at making other fruit and vegetables and enjoy serving up your handmade creations.
