MAKE! A recycled bird feeder
Make a wonderful bird feeder from recycled cartons to place in your garden.
You will need - A drink carton, pair of scissors, pencil or pen, Solid paint sticks or acrylic paint, string or or wool, a garden stick or straight twig
Step 3.
Decorate your carton with your paint sticks or paint.
Step 1.
Draw a rectangle on the front of your carton, about 5 cm up from the bottom. Then using a pencil, make a hole on one of the lines.
Step 2.
Use the hole made with the pencil to slide your scissors in and cut out the rectangle.
Step 4.
Once dry, use your pencil to make a hole at the bottom of the carton on both the front and back for the stick to go through.
Step 5.
Then make two more holes in the top for the string. Thread the string through the holes and tie a knot.
