Vilac artist profile - Shinzi Katoh

Designer, creator, painter, writer, with a career spanning more than 40 years, Shinzi Katoh is a Japanese artist known by fans around the world for his delicate and joyful drawings. In response to environmental concerns, he created a polar bear character, Sorabear, to educate and raise global awareness. Now he has collaborated with French company Vilac to design a range of high-quality toys and umbrellas.
