Many of my paintings recently have been based on pre-historic earthworks and the stone remnants of communities that lived on Dartmoor. So it will be interesting to see how the two merge together next week when I’m back in the studio. Also paintings from old walls in Florence. Subdued colours. Hilary Bravo - This is a discarded piece of lead flashing in an old bucket but once edited in photoshop looks like this. It is now the starting point for developing the outer surface of a paper mache bowl with fragments of gold, copper and silver leaf, acrylic inks - F.W and Pearlescent, iridescent tinting medium and gesso.
