Sun's out so Whitley Neill Gin and Noilly Prat this weekend I think.
Chase Rhubarb Vodka - Chase slowly cook Herefordshire Rhubarb and then marinade it with their award winning vodka in a copper pot still. They then distill a fourth time to infuse all of the flavour together.More rhubarb is macerated and filtered to leave a delicate pink colour.A natural scent of rhubarb and custard with the subtle sweetness of rhubarb on the pallet.
This is magnificent gin. Yes, it's from France, but worry not. There is a delicate nose of fresh flowers, jasmine, honeysuckle and cinnamon. Then there is an explosion of herbaceousness, anise, grains of paradise and cinnamon. The juniper gives way to layers of flowery complexity and a refined finish.
