E.1316 Female figurine
E.1316 Pottery female figurine, broken at the knees. Although her face is only crudely modelled, she wears a tripartite wig and a collar, has an emphasised pubic triangle, and is depicted with a belt or tattoo around her waist. Excavated by John Garstang at Esna, Egypt in 1905-6. Currently in the collections of the Garstang Museum of Archaeology, University of Liverpool. 9 H (cm)
