Art Studio & Artworks

Gabriela Fussa | Visual Artist on Instagram: "It feels right to start this new profile with a self portrait painting. I started my main page a lifetime ago and pivoted so many times that it only feels natural to keep it as a personal blog at this point. But this new profile marks a new chapter in my life: - moved to a different part of the world - building my life and my art career from scratch So if you’re interested in art content, painting vlogs, and stories, follow me! #artlover #artworks #artcollectors"

Gabriela Fussa | Visual Artist on Instagram: "5, 4, 3, 2, 1- Cut. 5 seconds before Freedom. Sometimes, it’s hard to shake our pasts off and be the person we want to be. The past holds us captive and keeps us from moving forward with life. This painting is about that moment - when you decide to cut off everything that doesn’t serve you anymore; The moment when you decide to live on your terms. #artcollective #contemporaryart #artworld"

Gabriela Fussa | Visual Artist on Instagram: "This week was a bliss! I feel like this is my first time ever enjoying working in a sketchbook. For the first time I manage to relax and just draw. Without stressing myself out if something is not perfect. It’s ridiculous how I always put the same amount of pressure on myself regardless if it was a large canvas painting or just a sketchbook drawing. And if the amount of pressure and stress was the same, of course I was always choosing to work on large serious projects and never just filling in a sketchbook random stuff. I couldn’t emotionally justify it 😅 that’s why I haven’t finished a single sketchbook ever! But this week I finally learned to view my sketchbook as a form of relaxation and a safe space to train, experiment and have fun.

My Dubai relocation story The last few months (6 to be precise) have been an absolute emotional rollercoaster. Everything started in October of 2023 when I was forced to give up on my studio. Those of you who watched the first video on my YouTube channel may remember how excited I was to finally move in my new and boojie studio. But it did not last long. 10 months later I was back to painting in my bedroom. Back to square one. THIS is NOT how I expected the 2023 to end. The last 3 year...
For the last few years the only constant in my life was change. My life was as unstable as it could be. Anything could change at any moment, and I had to be mentally and physically prepared for it. It blows my mind now looking back just a few months ago and realizing that at that time I was broke, no money to pay my bills, no studio where I could paint, no job and no idea about what’s coming next. Interestingly enough people tend to give up just when things start to get interesting. In ot...
