In overview, yes i do think there are implications for marketeers as knowing your market segment whether this be demographically, socially or financially. For adidas the brand image is crucial and making sure that they create value in the eyes of the consumer. For me I've loved adidas as tradition meets innovation whether that be from a retro sweatshirt back from the 80s or the latest technology in there running spikes. They have created a brand where almost every segment can relate.

I hardly ever use social media to say if I'am displeased with a product and have never written a complaint direct to the company. I will often tell close family and friends about my disappointment but wont vent it on-line. I guess running a small start up myself I know how hard it is to get everything right straight away so often try and support small retro/vintage shops by not demeaning there reputation.

Adidas clothing and a retro look have always fitted in well at festivals. By having models/celebrities wearing Adidas brands around the likes of Glastonbury and conchella is free advertising and ads and new dimension instead of just being know as a sports brand.

I often share items I'am thinking of getting on instagram by tagging my friend in the comments and judging there reactions. My friends opinion rarely effects my decision to buy something but I still like to get a second view.

I have always been influnced in my early child hood by who wears my favrouite boots. As a kid my biggest star was David Beckham and always inspired to be like him, this had a impact on buying not only Adidas boots but Beckhams range named preditors. Even though now I'am not as heavily influenced by what pros's wear certain boots I will always buy Adidas as I believe I have a brand loyalty.

I often listen to what shop owners and on line bloggers will say as often vintage clothing is worn and faded, this can have a effect on the price of the item. If you can see it is torn or faded you can often get a better price. however this is unusual as it part of vintage clothing. Listening to reviews by existing customers dosnt really effect my buying of retro clothes as stores will only have one of any item so cant judge the product till you have it. I will listen to costumers reviews about quality of service and delivery however.
