Naturally Lacquered Antique Oak Boards and New Handsome Staircase, Fulham SW6

The focus of this project was to transform the staircase in this home by reconstructing, strengthening and cladding the whole stair structure with antique oak. The project also included installing new matching wooden boards in the upstairs bedrooms and landing. We fitted wide honey coloured engineered oak boards in the large downstairs living room and entrance hallway. We applied a clear oil to keep the natural colour of the wood. The chosen boards were pre-finished with oil to shorten the installation time. We were delighted to take part in a major refurbishment project in a stunning detached home on one of Surrey’s exclusive residential roads. We installed wide engineered oak boards of various lengths in a recent open plan extension, the existing living room and the hallway.⁠ ⁠ We neatly accommodated this existing built-in cabinet in the living room with precise undercutting.⁠ ⁠ #FinWood #CraftedForLife #10YearsWarranty⁠

Complimentary change of direction 🔄⁠ ⁠We recommended effective changes of direction of the boards to compliment the light in the room and its use. We felt it would be beneficial to change the direction of the boards between the hallway and the open plan kitchen diner as we wanted the boards in the kitchen diner to run towards the beautiful views in the garden. ⁠ #FinWood #CraftedForLife #10YearsWarranty⁠ #sutton⁠
