A Rare Georgian Emerald, Ruby & Diamond Ring
A scarce and all original antique Rococo styled Georgian gem ring. A proud find, the arrangement consists of the prettiest 'garden' of bright gemstones; two clear green Emeralds, two pinky Rubies and a central old brilliant Diamond... and would two and a bit centuries ago likely have been the most treasured belonging of a fortunate young lady. In the style of Giardinetti rings of the period (from the Italian meaning 'little garden'), it is an original design and would have been lit from the spark of imagination from its creator.
Hand Carved Antique Georgian Coral Necklace
The most special of finds and a wonderful piece for a collector, this antique Georgian period necklace of graduated hand carved red Mediterranean Coral (Corallum Rubrum) beads is a rare find, this is the only piece of its type and quality that we've ever seen. Meticulously fashioned with a miniature precision, each of the little beads is prettily shaped in sympathy with the branch shape of the natural Coral and turned to the terminals, cut so the the alternate beads cup each other.
