A morning prayer that will change your life. Every morning when we wake up, we have a new chance at life. The first thoughts we think set the tone for the entire day and, repeated over time, have the power to change the course of our lives.
A mala, meaning garland in Sanskrit, evokes a circular, continuous form. In practice, a mala is the devoted offering of repeated cycles (typically in divisors of 108) of mantra japa or yoga asana.
Peace. When you chant, "Om shanti shanti shanti," it's an invocation of peace. In Buddhist and Hindu traditions you chant shanti three times to represent peace in body, speech, and mind.
This is totally needed after today. Keeping this one in mind for a while.
