The U.S. Army Warrior Transition Command (WTC) is a major subordinate command under the U.S. Army Medical Command. WTC provides oversight for the Warrior Care & Transition Program that is implemented at the Army’s 29 Warrior Transition Units (WTUs) where more than 10,000 wounded, ill and injured soldiers receive complex medical care for more than six months.
A cycling program for wounded warriors. Bikes, gear, and events are free for wounded warriors. They also custom-build bikes for disabled vets at no charge. They have riders who are multiple amputees and blind and do these amazing long-distance rides! Very inspirational! Riders are not limited to physical disabilities. There are many PTSD and TBI riders as well.
