Hi! This holiday heart pin, is made of 100% wool felt, and it measures just over 2 1\/2 across. Onto creamy off white felt, Ive add a few holly leaves, and red, bead berries. Touches of embroidery and clear beads accent the leaves, and a few fir sprigs peek out from between the holly. The edge of this pin is blanket stitched for a nice finished look, and its been made so it will keep its shape and not bend when your wearing it. ;) I create all of my things in my smoke free home…
Holly, Ogham name Tinne, rules 8th July to 4th August, its element is that of fire and it has the totem Robin. Tinne gives us the word tinder for kindling fire. Holly planted near the house will protect the inhabitants from lightening and fires. The Robin singed his breast red when bringing the gift of fire from the sun.
