_Elle_ has released a fully embroidered cover for its September issue as part of the magazine’s redesign. Created by Claire Barrett, founder of London-based embroidery company "Hawthorne & Heaney":http://www.londonhandembroidery.com/, the magazine cover is a minimal ivory-white fabric with stitched logo. The artwork is simply a sewn-on patch, similar to a clothing label, stating “Now what?” in embroidered capitalised type alongside the bar code.
Unspooling poster great modern version of the international typographic style. The visual characteristic of this poster is very clear for its audience. This poster was made for an art and cinema exhibition for international artists. I like how the word is being unspooled like yarn or unwinding what the artists have to present in the exhibit.
The way they formatted the words around the image (which is graphics vs. actual picture) and the font they used for the text is just so different from what you normally see sitting on the magazine rack.
